Well, hello there!

I love to write and often those musings are on baseball. I'd like to branch out and write about whatever (again) -- exercise those creative muscles, express an opinion or say whatever I feel like without ruining my alter-ego's reputation. Not that I'm ever terribly opinionated. I'm not always honest, however.

So let's get the bad stuff out of the way now. I like wine. I drink it often. I'm starting this blog with a glass of wine before dinner. I smoke. I occasionally swear. My kids went to daycare as babies because I work. I think people spend far too much time projecting an image of what they think people expect to see that they don't spend enough time just being themselves.

So here is my little place to be myself. I may vent about impertinent developer emails (or stupid emails in general). I may vent about the gawdawful early middle school start time. But above all, I hope I'm at least interesting and entertaining.
